Job summary

Lifescape Community Services is seeking a Program Services Director in Rockford, IL to oversee the Senior Choice Program, Adult Protective Services, Care Coordination Unit, and Senior Mental Health Program.

Under the CEO, the role manages staff, ensures program quality and compliance, and works across Rockford, Rock Falls, and Lake County to deliver services. Strong leadership, policy implementation, and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree preferred; bachelor's degree required in health, social services, social work, healthcare administration, or public administration.
• Minimum of three years of experience in health or human services; aging and/or domestic violence services preferred.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Strong decision-making abilities, attention to detail, effective communication skills, dependability, and openness to new ideas.
• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Minimum of three years' supervisory experience.
• Valid IL driver's license, clean driving record, and own transportation with current insurance coverage.
• Clean background history per State of Illinois; drug test and fingerprinting are required.
