Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Program Management based in the United States.

This is a senior program leadership role at the center of a growing Data & Technology organization.

You will drive execution across Product, Engineering, Design, Platform, and business teams, turning strategic priorities into measurable outcomes.

The role focuses on complex, cross-functional initiatives where alignment, sequencing, dependencies, and organizational readiness are critical.

You will bring structure to ambiguity while developing scalable planning processes, operating rhythms, and execution frameworks.

You will partner with leaders and teams across the organization to remove blockers and maintain momentum on high-impact programs.

The role also provides an opportunity to evolve agile and AI-enabled ways of working across a distributed technology environment.

This is a remote position in the United States, suited to an experienced operational leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Accountabilities
  • Drive cross-functional execution against organizational objectives, strategic priorities, and measurable business outcomes.

  • Orchestrate complex initiatives across Product, Engineering, Design, Platform, and business teams, managing dependencies, sequencing, risks, and delivery.

  • Partner with functional and executive leaders to translate strategy into coordinated plans, clear ownership, and effective execution.

  • Lead organizational readiness and adoption initiatives for new systems, workflows, operating practices, and ways of working.

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable operating rhythms, planning processes, program frameworks, and execution methodologies.

  • Establish alignment and accountability through program reviews, stakeholder communications, progress tracking, and executive-level reporting.

  • Identify systemic blockers, surface risks and dependencies, and facilitate the cross-functional decisions required to keep strategic initiatives moving.

  • Drive programs from strategic definition through tactical execution, ensuring teams remain aligned on objectives, milestones, and measurable outcomes.

  • Evolve agile practices and AI-enabled tools to improve planning, coordination, reporting, and operational workflows.

  • Support integrations, migrations, organizational changes, and other complex initiatives through implementation and adoption.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
  • 7 years of experience in program management, technical program management, product operations, or a related discipline within software or technology organizations.

  • Demonstrated ability to design programs by working backward from ambitious business objectives, identifying leverage points and gaps, and navigating complex organizations to achieve outcomes.

  • Proven experience leading complex programs across multiple companies, business functions, and product and technology teams.

  • Experience managing integrations, migrations, organizational change, or other initiatives requiring sustained implementation and adoption.

  • Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels, from executive alignment and organizational planning to hands-on program execution.

  • Experience applying agile methodologies and AI-enabled tools to improve planning, coordination, reporting, decision-making, and operational workflows.

  • Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguity and identify interconnected organizational challenges.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to establish alignment, accountability, and clear decision-making across organizational boundaries.

  • Experience driving execution across distributed teams and multiple time zones.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities, complex dependencies, and evolving requirements while maintaining focus on measurable outcomes.

  • Annual compensation range of $180,000--$200,000 CAD, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.
