Mission

Create and lead a best‑in‑class product development engine. Own the journey from creative concept and tech‑pack creation to production, cost tracking, and delivery. Build new systems, elevate quality, and ensure every product meets Nash standards while scaling efficiently for growth.

Core Responsibilities
  • Translate design direction into accurate, production‑ready tech packs including specs, fabrics, trims, construction details, and measurements.
  • Lead sample development, fit sessions, and revisions until final approval.
  • Maintain and optimize the seasonal product calendar, ensuring all timelines stay on track.
  • Manage the library of materials, trims, and prior product references.
Vendor and Production Management
  • Act as the primary contact for all vendors, both domestic and international.
  • Oversee vendor performance, lead times, quality control, and communication.
  • Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and delivery schedules to protect margins and maintain consistency.
  • Build and maintain a vendor database that tracks costs, capacity, and reliability.
Process Ownership and Team Leadership
  • Streamline the entire product development and ordering process to improve speed and accuracy.
  • Implement standardized systems for design hand‑off, sample approval, and purchase orders.
  • Work closely with the existing operations and design teams while shaping your own department structure as the business grows.
  • Create SOPs for development, tech‑pack documentation, and vendor communication.
Planning and Forecasting
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop seasonal line plans and product forecasts.
  • Use sales and margin data to inform design, volume, and production decisions.
  • Track all product costs through BOMs and ensure profitability at every stage.
Technology and Systems Integration
  • Utilize NetSuite to manage product data, inventory alignment, and purchase orders.
  • Work with PLM tools and digital asset management systems to centralize product documentation.
  • Maintain digital organization across all tech‑packs, timelines, and approvals.
Technical Requirements
  • NetSuite experience required (product and inventory modules preferred).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for tech‑pack design.
  • Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets for costing, forecasting, and data tracking.
  • Experience with PLM or product tracking software such as Backbone, WFX, or Centric.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, pattern development, and materials.
  • Familiarity with domestic and international production workflows.
Who You Are
  • 7–10 years in apparel product development or sourcing for a lifestyle or streetwear brand.
  • Deep knowledge of the end‑to‑end product lifecycle.
  • Organized, process‑oriented, and skilled at turning creative chaos into structure.
  • Creative thinker who can balance innovation with business sense.
  • Confident communicator who can align multiple departments around timelines and goals.
  • Passionate about Nashville’s energy and understands how culture connects to product.
  • Ready to lead, build, and grow with the company.
What You’ll Build in Your First 90 Days
  • A fully standardized tech‑pack and product development system.
  • A centralized vendor and cost‑tracking database.
  • A clearly mapped product development and ordering process integrated with NetSuite.
  • A scalable foundation for a future product development team.
