Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Director to join its Privacy team within the Cybersecurity practice in San Francisco. You will lead privacy consulting engagements, oversee privacy platform deployments, and guide clients on governance, data inventory, mapping, consent management, and DSAR workflows.

The role requires 5–8 years of privacy or cybersecurity consulting experience, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to work across industries.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in privacy consulting or privacy program management
• Hands-on experience configuring privacy management platforms (OneTrust, Ketch, Securiti.ai)
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA and related laws
• Ability to manage client relationships, lead work streams, and mentor juniors

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements at the intersection of privacy, cybersecurity and technology
• Oversee configuration and deployment of privacy management platforms
• Advise on consent models for website tracking and CMP deployment
• Manage engagement workstreams and project budgets
• Develop proposals, roadmaps and reusable methodologies
• Stay current on privacy trends and regulations
