Job summary

Amogy is hiring a Director of Electrical & Power Systems to define and own the electrical architecture for its next‑gen ammonia‑to‑power systems. This role shapes generation, storage, controls, and grid interface to deliver a cohesive, dispatchable power asset for customers.

As the chief electrical SME, you will set system direction, make critical design decisions, and drive end‑to‑end execution toward Amogy’s early commercial product deployments, building the electrical engineering function

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering
• 10–15+ years designing and deploying complex power or energy systems
• Experience with LV/MV/HV distribution and power electronics

Responsibilities

• Define and own the electrical architecture for integrated ammonia‑to‑power systems including generation, storage, power conversion and grid interface.
• Architect a system that presents as a single, dispatchable power asset to the customer.
• Develop power management and control strategies that decouple reformer/engine dynamics from customer load requirements.
• Lead electrical integration across mechanical, process, and controls systems with clear interfaces.
• Own design of power distribution, protection schemes, grounding and interconnection strategy.
