Job summary

CaptivateIQ is hiring a Director of Project Management to build and scale a PM practice, delivering end-to-end enterprise implementations and a scalable delivery model across the customer base. You will establish governance, milestones, and accountability, while growing a PM team and defining standards for delivery excellence.

You will partner with Architecture to separate design ownership from project outcomes, drive risk visibility, and lead a governance cadence that surfaces issues before

Qualifications

• 8+ years in project or program management for software implementations.
• 5+ years building or leading a PM team.
• Experience implementing enterprise SaaS within delivery teams or partners.
• Experience designing delivery models for multiple scales.
• Track record building a PM function where none existed.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery governance across the full portfolio for implementations ranging from enterprise to scale delivery.
• Build a risk-visibility system with dashboards and escalation triggers.
• Define milestone gates and hold teams accountable to them.
• Hire, develop, and manage a team of PMs and coordinators; create career paths across levels.
• Set standards for best practices, change management, and scalable workflows.
• Design a coordinator model to support high-volume, concurrent projects.
• Collaborate with Architecture to delineate system design ownership from project accountability.
• Lead a recurring delivery forum and report progress, risk, and changes to leadership.
