Job summary

The Charles Schwab Corporation in Westlake, TX seeks a Director of Software Development & Engineering, Platform Infrastructure & Engineering, to lead AWAT Infrastructure Operations, security, and DevOps modernization. You will bridge infrastructure, security, and automation strategy and drive centralized programs across AWAT apps and platforms.

You will shape platform health, guide CICD tooling, and ensure regulatory compliance while building a high-performing, diverse team capable of delivering

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in IT with enterprise infra and operations experience.
• At least 5 years in leadership overseeing infrastructure, IT operations, or DevOps functions.
• Experience across on-prem and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) with reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead platform technology strategy for infrastructure, security and DevOps modernization.
• Oversee infrastructure lifecycle programs, capacity planning, and DR testing.
• Drive CICD tooling, deployment platforms, and engineering runtime services.
• Ensure security controls, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Lead and develop talent; foster cross-functional alignment and governance.
