Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture roles.
• Significant experience within Asset Management Operations, Sales & Marketing technology.
• Experience leading architecture of vendor-based platforms, SaaS ecosystems, package implementations, and build-versus-buy technology decisions.
• Proven track record leading large-scale platform architecture and modernization initiatives.
• Strong understanding of software delivery within Agile and product-centric organizations.
• Ability to balance strategic architecture thinking with hands-on implementation leadership.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot/Spring Cloud), .NET/C#, or Python.
• Deep expertise in microservices, event-driven architectures, API design, and distributed systems.
• Strong cloud architecture experience on GCP (preferred) or AWS.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data engineering patterns, and analytics platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, and modern cloud data platforms.
• Experience with SalesForce and related data integrations.
• Familiarity with DevOps toolchains including Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms.
• Knowledge of AI/ML architecture patterns, model deployment, and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the target-state architecture and multi-year roadmap for Investment Operations and Distribution platforms.
• Lead architecture governance, design reviews, technology assessments, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Drive platform operating model transformation and rationalization of redundant technologies.
• Establish architecture principles, integration patterns, and reusable platform capabilities.
• Lead major architecture decisions for strategic initiatives across investment operations and distribution ecosystems.
• Simplify legacy landscapes and accelerate adoption of cloud-native architectures.
• Partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable and secure platform solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Lead architecture validation activities, including proofs-of-concepts and design reviews.
• Champion modern engineering practices including CI/CD, security-by-design, and observability.
• Collaborate with platform engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and SRE teams.
