Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Director of Infrastructure Engineering to own the multi-cloud architecture across AWS and GCP. This remote, full-time role leads a growing Platform Engineering team and drives Terraform-based infrastructure as code, CI/CD improvements, and strong reliability practices.

The ideal candidate brings extensive production infra experience, proven leadership in high-growth settings, and deep expertise in AWS/GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD platforms.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience building and operating production infrastructure.
• Experience leading engineering teams in high-growth environments.
• Deep expertise with AWS, GCP, or multi-cloud environments.
• Proven ability to design reliable, observable, and highly available systems.

Type: Full-time

Compensation: $350K - $500K/yr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and evolution of multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP.
• Lead and grow a high-performing Infrastructure/Platform Engineering team.
• Build infrastructure as code using Terraform for reproducible environments.
• Design and improve CI/CD systems for reliable software delivery.
