Georgetown University seeks a Director of Planned Giving in the Office of Advancement to provide comprehensive planned giving services for the main campus and medical center. You will counsel fundraisers, guide estate planning, and manage complex gift structures while handling confidential donor information with tact and discretion.

The role reports to the Chief Data Officer, collaborates with the Planned Giving Operations team, and works with attorneys, accountants, and internal partners to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and JD required.
• 5–7 years of overall professional experience with at least 5 years in Planned Giving or estate and trust administration.
• Experience documenting bequests and reviewing planned giving legal documents.
• Knowledge of the legal, tax, and procedural aspects of estate planning, estate administration, fiduciary responsibilities, estate and trust tax preparation, and accounting.
