Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Director of Physician Services to lead clinical operations across Tampa-area specialty clinics, with coverage expanding to North Tampa markets.

The role manages budgets, staff, and partnerships with hospitals and divisions, driving patient care quality and operational efficiency. The DPS collaborates with GME and senior leaders to optimize performance across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health admin or related field required.
• Master's degree or equivalent preferred.
• CMPE completion is a plus.
• Three plus years of leadership in practice management.
• Five plus years of relevant clinical operations experience.
• Strong understanding of healthcare financial management and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations, budget, and general management of assigned practices.
• Develop educational planning programs with GME.
• Identify opportunities to improve patient flow and satisfaction.
• Direct and manage strategic projects (billing, coding, training).
• Supervise physicians and staff; meet with leadership.
• Oversee recruiting and contracting with physicians and offices.
• Promote innovative growth and quality solutions.
• Ensure consistent patient interactions and outcomes.
