Job summary

Valeris is seeking a Director of Pharmacy Operations to lead both front-end and back-end pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate prescriptions, timely fulfillment, and compliance with regulatory standards.

The role requires ASP knowledge in specialty/mail-order pharmacy, multi-state licensure readiness, and 5–8 years of leadership experience. Arizona license and strong operational metrics are essential.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited school.
• Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in Arizona; multi-state licensure preferred.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in specialty/mail-order pharmacy operations.
• Minimum 2–5 years of management experience with at least 3 direct/indirect reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across front-end and back-end pharmacy operations.
• Drive patient safety, prescription accuracy, workflow optimization, and speed to therapy.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, HIPAA, accreditation standards, and quality assurance.
• Develop metrics, monitor KPIs, and manage staffing to meet performance goals.
