Job summary

Coborn’s is seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy Operations in Minnesota to lead our pharmacy division, shape strategic growth, and drive financial performance while delivering safe, compliant, and guest‑focused service.

You will supervise Pharmacy District Managers and staff, guide growth strategies including acquisitions and clinical services, own compliance programs, and elevate guest experience across locations.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Pharmacy and/or PharmD from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 7 years of pharmacy management experience at the District Manager level or above.
• Multi-store pharmacy management experience.
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial billing, and related compliance requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, regulations, pharmaceutical service requirements, and dispensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire pharmacy leadership teams, including Pharmacy District Managers and staff, driving accountability and results.
• Shape future growth strategies including acquisitions, clinical services, 340B relationships, and long-term care opportunities.
• Own pharmacy financial performance, driving sales, gross margin, profitability, labor, inventory, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Champion operational excellence by improving processes, technology, training, efficiency, and performance.
• Lead pharmacy compliance and risk management, maintaining HIPAA, Medicare accreditation, fraud, waste & abuse, DEA, and related regulations.
• Build partnerships across Finance, HR, IT/IS, Marketing and vendors to achieve goals.
• Elevate guest experience by ensuring teams are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient.
• Develop and retain great pharmacy talent and a culture of growth.
• Serve as the organization’s Compliance Officer for pharmacy-related compliance and regulatory needs.
