CommonSpirit Health's Mercy Hospital Folsom seeks a Director of Pharmacy to oversee daily Pharmacy Services operations in accordance with professional standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.

The role focuses on achieving financial objectives, leading performance improvements, and ensuring quality patient care through leadership, staff development, and compliant pharmaceutical services.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree (B.S. in Pharmacy) or Doctor of Pharmacy required.
• Active California Pharmacist license required.
• Minimum of four years of recent pharmacy work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Pharmacy Services operations in accordance with standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
• Meet financial objectives in labor, revenue, and gross margins; implement performance improvements.
• Evaluate department effectiveness in meeting clinical and service expectations; troubleshoot pharmaceutical care issues.
• Apply leadership principles, human relations, and continuous quality improvement across management and coordination of pharmaceutical care services.
