Job summary

Aspen Valley Health is hiring a full-time Director Perioperative Services in the Ambulatory Care Administration department in Aspen, CO. This role directs care across Surgery, PACU, Endoscopy and Anesthesia Services, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesia teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

You will oversee budgeting and staff leadership, while ensuring performance excellence in a 24-hour perioperative operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Unrestricted Colorado RN license or ability to obtain before start date.
• BLS; ACLS certifications.
• At least five years of perioperative management experience.
• At least five years of experience as an OR RN.

Responsibilities

• Direct care and services for Perioperative Services (Surgery, PACU, Sterile Processing, Endoscopy and Anesthesia).
• Oversee 24-hour department operations, budget planning and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia providers to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Lead staff through planning, organizing, and coaching to deliver patient-centered care.
