Aspen Valley Health is seeking a Director of Perioperative Services in Aspen, CO. This full-time role leads Surgery, PACU, Sterile Processing, and related services, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesia teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements include a BSN, an unrestricted RN license in Colorado (or eligibility), BLS (and ACLS), with at least five years in perioperative management and as an OR RN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Unrestricted license to practice as an RN in Colorado, or ability to obtain before start date.
• BLS certification (may be obtained on hire).
• ACLS certification is required.
• At least five years of perioperative management experience.
• At least five years as an OR RN.

Responsibilities

• Directs care and services for Perioperative Services (Surgery, PACU, SDS, PAT, Sterile Processing, Endoscopy and Anesthesia Services).
• Coordinate, communicate, and collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers to ensure high-quality care.
• Plan, organize, lead, and coach perioperative services staff on a 24-hour basis.
• Prepare and be accountable for the department budget and perform variance analysis as needed.
• Promote teamwork across departments and assist with direct patient care when required.
