You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and hospital leadership to drive safe, efficient, high-quality care, mentor a perioperative leadership team, and advance performance improvement in a dynamic acute-care setting.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona RN license or eligibility.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Progressive perioperative leadership experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary surgical teams in an acute-care hospital.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and executives.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour leadership for Surgical and Procedural Services.
• Lead, mentor, and develop perioperative leadership team and staff.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Partner with surgeons, anesthesia providers, physicians, and hospital leadership to optimize operations.

We are seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services to provide 24-hour clinical and operational leadership across Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op, PACU, and Cath/EP Lab services.

• Provide 24-hour leadership and operational oversight for Surgical and Procedural Services.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing perioperative leadership team and clinical staff.

• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or eligibility for Arizona licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Progressive nursing leadership experience in perioperative/surgical services.
• Experience managing clinical operations, quality initiatives, staffing, productivity, and financial performance.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary surgical teams in an acute-care hospital.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and relationship-building skills.
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• CNOR or other relevant specialty certification.
