Director of People & Culture| Fit Fusion
Overview
The Director of People & Culture will effectively lead and manage a broad spectrum of human resource functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a positive workplace culture. The People & Culture Director is a key leadership role responsible for driving strategic human resources initiatives across the Fit Fusion network. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and partnering with our senior management team, key responsibilities include employee relations, compliance, and supporting our team in the daily needs of the business.
Responsibilities
Relevant education and training with labor laws and regulations, ensuring human resources policies and practices follow all federal and state laws.
Identify training needs and coordinate development programs for team members.
Implement performance management programs to drive employee development and engagement.
Provide guidance to team members and managers on policy interpretation and implementation.
Analyze human resources metrics to drive team member retention and prevent high turnover.
Recommend data-driven strategies for talent management and recruitment.
Lead projects and the implementation of new human resources systems, process improvements, and policy changes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Support the senior leadership team on all human resources related issues.
Collaborate and support implementation of benefits administration and payroll systems
Oversee workers compensation claims, investigations and managing claims to closure.
Work with gym level leadership at multiple locations to ensure proper onboarding and offboarding of team members.
Oversee team member appreciation programs, incentive programs and other team member recognition programs.
Work in conjunction VP of Operations on both in gym member experience and team member experience.
Collaborate with the Director of Training & Development on training throughout the Fit Fusion network.
Support new gym openings through dedicated recruitment campaigns.
Other projects as needed based on direction from the Fit Fusion leadership team.
Requirements
5+ years prior experience in a leadership level position
Substantial experience with human resources in a multi-unit fitness network
Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations and human resources best practices
Strong written and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage recruitment, compliance and training throughout multiple locations
Ability to travel extensively
Reporting Structure
Reports directly to the COO
Works in conjunction with the Fit Fusion leadership team.
