What You Will Be Doing
- Crafting and spearheading parent engagement programs across multiple campuses to cultivate genuine advocacy, beyond mere satisfaction.
- Serving as the primary contact for significant parent concerns, resolving issues without compromising our educational ethos.
- Handling regional parent crises with poise, ensuring community strength and alignment.
- Tracking parent sentiment trends to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Fostering robust parent networks that autonomously support and promote Alpha's educational vision.
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Shifting parent engagement responsibilities to volunteer groups.
- Conducting superficial or transactional events lacking strategic intent.
- Altering curriculum or educational practices to please individual parents.
- Treating parent communications as mere customer support or sending impersonal automated messages.
- Marketing Alpha as a commodity or managing direct sales.
Director Of Parent Advocacy Key Responsibilities
Develop cohesive, passionately loyal parent communities that advocate for Alpha, drive enrollment growth, and actively safeguard the model's integrity and mission.
Basic Requirements
- Must reside in the U.S. and have legal authorization to work without sponsorship.
- Willingness to travel to Alpha campuses as required (preferably candidates based on the West Coast or Midwest for convenient travel).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in stakeholder management, grassroots organizing, or community mobilization.
- Proven ability to influence high-pressure or skeptical groups without compromising the mission.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, especially under pressure.
- Strong conviction in Alpha’s innovative model and the courage to defend it against challenges.
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Experience in leading engagement initiatives across various sites, campuses, or regions.

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
