Job summary

Triple Stick Golf Club seeks a Director of Outside Operations to lead the member-facing operation from arrival through departure. You will recruit, train and manage an Outside Operations team, ensuring service excellence and a refined private-club experience.

Reporting to the Head Golf Professional, you will collaborate with PGA National Resort leaders to open Triple Stick and establish its service culture and standards from day one.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily Outside Operations experience from member arrival through departure, ensuring touchpoints reflect Triple Stick standards.
• Recruit, train, schedule, coach and evaluate the Outside Operations team with accountability and teamwork.
• Develop relationships with members, understanding preferences and service expectations.
• Create and reinforce standard operating procedures, checklists and measurable service standards.
• Oversee arrival, bag handling, departure services and cart operations for presentation and readiness.
• Direct daily practice facility operations and ensure club standards are met throughout the day.

The Director of Outside Operations will be a key leader on the opening Golf Operations team at Triple Stick Golf Club, responsible for building and directing the member-facing operation from arrival through departure. Reporting to the Head Golf Professional and working closely with the PGA National Resort Director of Golf, this individual will help translate the vision for Triple Stick into an intimate, refined and highly personalized private-club experience—one defined by recognition, anticipation, exceptional presentation and genuine relationships.

The successful candidate must be a highly visible, hands-on leader who combines exceptional hospitality instincts with disciplined operational management. This individual will recruit, train, schedule, coach and hold accountable the Outside Operations team while establishing clear standards for arrival, bag storage and handling, cart presentation, practice-facility operations, first-tee readiness and departure service. The Director of Outside Operations will be expected to know the membership personally, understand individual preferences and create a culture in which every team member takes ownership of the details that shape the member experience.

This is a distinctive club-building opportunity to help launch a new private golf club while benefiting from the scale, resources and championship heritage of PGA National Resort. The Director of Outside Operations will work closely with the Head Golf Professional, Director of Golf Kevin Muldoon, Agronomy and leaders throughout PGA National Resort to successfully open Triple Stick, establish its service culture and operating standards, and build a high-performing Outside Operations team capable of delivering those standards consistently from day one.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the daily Outside Operations experience from member arrival through departure, ensuring every touchpoint reflects Triple Stick standards for recognition, anticipation, presentation and follow-through.
• Recruit, train, schedule, coach and evaluate the Outside Operations team while establishing a culture of accountability, teamwork, urgency and genuine hospitality.
• Serve as a highly visible leader and welcoming ambassador for Triple Stick Golf Club, developing meaningful relationships with members and becoming familiar with individual preferences, playing habits, equipment and service expectations.
• Develop, implement and continuously reinforce standard operating procedures, daily checklists, line‑up routines and measurable service standards for all Outside Operations functions.
• Oversee arrival, bag handling, bag storage and departure services, ensuring member equipment is properly cared for, accurately organized and readily available.
• Direct cart operations, including staging, cleanliness, charging, rotation, fleet presentation, preventative‑care coordination and organization of cart storage and operational areas.
• Direct daily practice‑facility operations, ensuring range setup, ball presentation, amenities, equipment and overall presentation consistently meet Club standards throughout the day.
• Coordinate first‑tee and starting operations with the Golf Professional staff to ensure members and guests are welcomed, informed and prepared for an enjoyable and timely start.
• Manage departmental staffing levels, schedules, timekeeping, payroll and overtime in alignment with business levels, member activity and approved operating plans.
• Maintain appropriate inventories of operational supplies, uniforms, amenities and equipment while assisting with purchasing, expense control and departmental budget accountability.
• Lead Outside Operations preparation and execution for member tournaments, events, outings, preview play and special programming, ensuring seamless coordination across Golf Operations.
• Maintain proactive communication with the Golf Professional staff, Agronomy and other resort departments regarding member needs, course conditions, staffing, events and daily operational priorities.
• Take ownership of the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all Outside Operations areas while identifying opportunities to elevate service, improve efficiency and strengthen the overall experience.
