Job summary

Clean Harbors seeks a Director of Operations, Vapor Control, to oversee all operational aspects of the Long Beach, CA branch. You will manage scheduling, logistics, and personnel while driving efficiency and profitability in compliance with customer agreements and company policies.

The role requires developing safety and environmental policies, coordinating with regulatory agencies, and leading a team through hiring, training, and performance management to maintain high standards of operation.

TheDirector of Operations, Vapor Controlisresponsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the assigned business unit(s) to ensure optimum efficiency and fiscal responsibility in accordance with customer agreement and in accordance with Company policies, practices, and procedures. Develops and implements operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and optimize efficiency and profitability. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations, including scheduling, logistics, and personnel management. Develops and maintains relationships with regulatory agencies, customers, and vendors. Analyze operational performance metrics and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Develops and implements safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices. Position will be located at our branch in Long Beach, CA.
