Steampunk is seeking a Director of Operations in the McLean, VA area to lead end-to-end operational delivery for federal IT services. You will manage a growing team of program, project, and technical leaders, drive client satisfaction, and partner with sales, contracts, and finance to pursue and win new contracts.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of leadership in federal IT services, a strong leadership philosophy, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Formación

• 10+ years of program/operations leadership at the director/VP level in federal IT services.
• Leadership philosophy and ability to define how leadership works.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with sales, BD, contracts, and finance.
• Experience mentoring program/project managers and delivering client delight.
• Proven P&L ownership for a business area.

• Be responsible and accountable for all the operational delivery across the sector
• Provide operational support, leadership, and guidance in the current and future operations of the sector
• Lead a growing team of program, project, and technical leaders in providing best in class IT services
• Identify and hire the absolute best leadership we can find for our client delivery teams
• Support, train, and mentor program and project managers for success in the performance of their work

Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with sales, business development, recruiting, contracts, and finance in the pursuit of new contracts/proposals
• Experience collaborating with program managers, project managers, and clients to improve the delivery of services and create "client delight"
• Experience in training and mentorship of project and program managers in the performance of their duties
• Experience being responsible and accountable for the P&L of your area of responsibility
• 10+ years of Program and/or Operations Director/VP experience leading federal IT services work across multiple agencies/components
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance
