Job summary

Contour Airlines is seeking a Manager of Operations Strategy and Data Analysis to shape the airline’s operational direction. You will lead strategic initiatives, analyze complex operational data, and provide insights to optimize flight operations, efficiency, and overall performance.

Collaborate with Flight Ops, Maintenance, Safety, Finance, and Customer Service on strategic projects; conduct root-cause analyses; drive process improvements; and prepare reports for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business Administration, Data Science, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience in airline operations, data analysis, or strategic planning.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, etc.).
• Be at least 23 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365: Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Knowledge of HRIS and related systems.
• Able to pass a 10-year work history review and background check.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis of operational data related to flight schedules, dispatch, maintenance, and crew management to inform strategic decisions.
• Develop and evaluate strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Monitor and report on KPIs and operational trends; identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic projects.
• Conduct in-depth root cause analysis of operational issues and recommend actionable solutions.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and implementation of new operational strategies.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leadership, providing strategic guidance.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
