Great Public Schools Now seeks a dynamic Director of Operations to partner with the Managing Director in designing, analyzing and managing systems that ensure the financial and operational health of the organization in Los Angeles. You will lead key functions across accounting, reporting, budgets, organizational operations and financial controls.

• Oversee GPSN’s financial processes including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, internal controls, vendors, and budget tracking; coordinate with external accountants for precise records and documentation
• Oversee GPSN’s operations including leases, contracts, MOUs, grant terms, and securing expert professional support from bookkeepers, legal counsel, auditors, and others
• Oversee office support systems to ensure efficiency, including technology systems, office policies, standards and procedures, and procurement of equipment and supplies
• Support governance by preparing quarterly operations updates, quarterly budget reports, annual audit, IRS and state filings, and other governance needs
• Oversee and manage HR functions including payroll, onboarding, and benefits
