Job summary

KIPP Nashville Public Schools seeks a Director of Operations to lead the school-wide operations, budgeting, and stakeholder communications. You will oversee enrollment, attendance, transportation, and staff management across campuses, reporting to the Principal and Head of School Operations.

The role emphasizes process improvement, cross-team collaboration, and the ability to manage complex logistics while supporting students and families in a high-performing district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years of work experience in K-12 or school operations preferred.
• Experience managing a large budget.
• Bilingual in Spanish and/or Arabic preferred.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead school operations to support principals and instructional focus.
• Oversee enrollment, attendance, and daily school procedures.
• Manage budget, purchases, and procurement processes.
• Coordinate transportation and food services.
• Supervise HR onboarding and staff attendance tracking.
