Amentum seeks a Director of Operations to lead a portfolio of programs, aligning strategic priorities with operational execution and growth. You will drive performance, quality, efficiency, and customer outcomes while collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders.

The role requires 10+ years in operations or program management, a TS/SCI w/CI Poly clearance, and a Bachelor's degree. Expect responsibilities in budgeting, governance, and workforce development within a government contracting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Operations or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations or program management.
• Experience leading multiple programs, teams or business functions.
• Experience managing budgets, resources and performance.
• Clearance: TS/SCI w/CI Poly.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of programs and operational functions aligned with goals and growth objectives.
• Translate strategic objectives into operational plans and measurable outcomes.
• Establish governance, performance metrics and accountability across the portfolio.
• Identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies and action plans.
• Direct day-to-day operations across programs to meet delivery and quality standards.
• Monitor performance and drive process improvements for efficiency and growth.
• Lead workforce planning and resource allocation for current and future growth.
