Job summary

PSCU in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Director of Operations to lead daily operations, optimize processes, and develop staff while delivering exceptional member service. This role reports to the COO and partners with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and support strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive leadership in operations, strong data-analysis and communication skills, and a proven ability to improve processes in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations management
• Experience managing change and improving processes
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze data and make sound business decisions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business technology applications

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational activities to ensure efficient, consistent, and high-quality service delivery.
• Develop, monitor, and improve operational processes, procedures, and performance metrics.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability for operational staff and managers.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, professional development, and continuous improvement.
• Drive initiatives that improve member experience, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
• Partner with leadership to support strategic objectives and organizational growth.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and internal controls.
• Work collaboratively with Compliance, Risk Management, and other departments to mitigate operational risk.
• Manage and participate in projects, technology implementations, and process improvement initiatives.
• Analyze operational performance and present recommendations to leadership.
