Job summary

Bender CCP, Inc. is seeking a Director of Operations to lead the Vernon facility and ensure safe, efficient, and profitable performance.

You will guide the operations team, partner with executive leadership, and align cross‑functional efforts to meet customer commitments and growth objectives. This role focuses on developing people, optimizing processes, and delivering results in a high‑complexity environment spanning precision machining, repair, welding, fabrication, and rotating equipment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or related industries.
• Experience leading multi-department industrial operations.
• Experience managing managers and production teams.
• Strong understanding of production, scheduling, labor, and resource management.
• Experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
• Proven ability to improve processes and productivity.
• Strong business judgment and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of industrial safety and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with ERP/MRP integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day‑to‑day operations of the Vernon facility and develop strategies aligned with company goals.
• Oversee production, machining, welding/fabrication, maintenance, quality, scheduling, and facility operations.
• Ensure customer commitments, schedules, quality standards, and delivery requirements are met.
• Manage labor, equipment, materials, and resources to maximize efficiency.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, productivity, cost, downtime, and delivery.
• Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Manage operating budgets, costs, and capital improvement needs.
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, Quality and other departments to support customer and business requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Lead, develop, and hold managers and supervisors accountable for performance.
