Job summary

All State Fastener Corporation is seeking an experienced operations leader to drive performance and scalability across our branch and distribution network. You will lead branch operations, distribution, customer service and delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives to align with growth and customer expectations.

In this role you will partner with Finance, Sales, IT, and other areas of the business to set standards, measure KPIs, and implement lean practices.

Qualifications

• Proven operational leadership across multi-site operations and distribution.
• Experience leading branch/warehouse operations with KPIs and SLAs.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, 5S, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Financial acumen with budgets, costs, productivity, and ROI management.
• Experience with ERP systems and performance reporting.

The Opportunity

All State Fastener is seeking an experienced operations leader to drive operational performance, consistency, and scalability across our growing branch and distribution network. This role will provide leadership across branch operations, distribution, customer service and delivery, continuous improvement, financial performance, and operational systems.

Working closely with branch leadership and teams across Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, IT, and other areas of the business, this position will establish consistent operating standards, strengthen accountability, improve productivity, and ensure our operational infrastructure supports continued growth and an exceptional customer experience.

What You’ll Do

Operations Leadership

• Lead day-to-day operational performance across the company’s branch and distribution network.
• Establish consistent operating standards, KPIs, processes, and accountability across locations.
• Develop and implement best practices for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, delivery, and inventory management.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and drive corrective actions.
• Build a culture of ownership, accountability, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Branch & Distribution Operations

• Provide leadership and support to Branch Managers and distribution center leadership.
• Establish standardized branch operating procedures and performance expectations.
• Improve labor productivity, warehouse utilization, picking accuracy, and throughput.
• Evaluate facility capacity, footprint, staffing, and equipment requirements.
• Support new branch openings, consolidations, relocations, and acquisitions.

Customer Service & Delivery

• Improve on-time delivery, order accuracy, fill rates, and overall customer experience.
• Develop operational processes supporting VMI, Kanban, line-side delivery, kitting, sequencing, and other customer-specific programs.
• Establish clear ownership when customer requirements require additional labor, inventory, transportation, or service investment.
• Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across the network.
• Develop productivity metrics and identify opportunities for labor and process optimization.
• Drive standard work, 5S, visual management, root-cause analysis, and corrective action.
• Establish financial measurement of operational improvements and savings.
• Leverage technology and automation to improve productivity and scalability.
• Manage operational expenses and productivity against budget.
• Identify opportunities to reduce labor, freight, warehousing, inventory carrying costs, and other operating expenses.
• Partner with Finance to quantify operational ROI and savings.
• Ensure operational decisions support company gross-margin and EBITDA objectives.

Systems & Data

• Serve as a key operational leader for ERP and systems initiatives.
• Ensure operational processes are properly reflected in ERP workflows.
• Improve data integrity around inventory, locations, purchasing, replenishment, and order execution.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs that provide timely visibility into operational performance.
• Lead, develop, and hold operational leaders accountable for performance.
• Establish staffing models based on workload, productivity, and customer requirements.
• Develop succession plans and operational leadership talent.
• Coach managers to become stronger business leaders rather than simply functional supervisors.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven operational leadership experience in multi-site operations, distribution, manufacturing, supply chain, or a related environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading branch, warehouse, or distribution operations across multiple locations.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution processes, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and delivery.
• Experience establishing and managing operational KPIs, performance standards, and accountability measures.
• Knowledge of Lean, continuous improvement, 5S, root-cause analysis, and other process‑improvement methodologies.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing operational budgets, costs, productivity, and ROI.
• Experience working with ERP systems, operational technology, data, and performance reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into operational action.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and hold managers accountable across multiple locations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effective across functions and levels of the organization.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on operational leadership in a growing organization.
