As the head of the school, you'll be responsible for providing leadership to the entire campus team. We are looking for a leader who shares our passion for Primrose Schools—someone with the talent and perseverance required to grow enrollment, attract and retain dedicated team members, and build a strong parent community. This position requires an individual who will ensure adherence to our mission of delivering the best and most trusted early childhood education and child care services to families. We seek an energetic, organized, problem-solving communicator who is passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to the success of the next generation.

This is a Monday through Friday, on-site position.

Primrose is an accredited private preschool offering year-round programs for children from infants through elementary age, providing a premier educational child care experience.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the preschool, including health and safety, enrollment, financial management, staffing, training, campus operations, and delivering high-quality education and care.
  • Maintain strong relationships with families, faculty, and vendors.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, licensing, and marketing initiatives.
  • Cultivate a safe and enjoyable culture in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform all essential functions for each school position, including leadership roles, teachers, Food Service Teachers, and Bus Drivers.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of Director experience in a licensed child care facility.
  • Strong knowledge of state childcare licensing regulations, staffing, enrollment, and budget management.
  • Highly effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience overseeing preschool operations, including human resources, quality assurance, and facilities.
  • Proven success in hiring, developing, and retaining staff.
  • Strong commitment to building positive relationships with families and the community.
  • Experience in student enrollment growth.
  • Additional advantages include several years of team management experience, proven enrollment growth success, leadership qualities, and college education.
