Job summary

MANE-USA seeks a Director of Operations, Encapsulation, to lead the Capsules Team in Lebanon, Ohio. This senior role drives strategic operations for macro- and microcapsule manufacture in a 24/7 environment, translating business goals into actionable plans and building leadership capability across shifts.

You will partner with global teams to improve safety, quality, service, productivity, and cost while aligning with MANE’s culture and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, technical studies, or a related field.
• 10+ years progressive leadership experience in a complex manufacturing environment with multi-shift/24/7 operations.
• Proven success leading managers and supervisors through operational improvement and organizational change.
• Demonstrated ability to improve safety, quality, productivity, service and cost through effective leadership.
• Experience in flavor, fragrance, pharmaceutical, food, chemical, or other highly technical manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience in ISO 9001-certified or similarly regulated environments preferred.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, or other continuous-improvement methodologies preferred.
• Strong business acumen with budgeting, resource planning, KPI management, and operational decision-making.
• Excellent communication, coaching, influencing, and change-leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute an operating strategy aligned with business and customer objectives.
• Translate requirements into clear priorities, resource plans, and initiatives.
• Lead consistent execution of operating standards, processes, and accountability.
• Establish and manage KPIs for safety, people, service, quality, and cost.
• Use data and trends to identify opportunities, remove barriers, and allocate resources.
• Coordinate staffing and workforce capability to meet demand.
• Manage budgets and expenses in line with financial plans.
• Champion a proactive safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead cross-functional change initiatives and continuous-improvement programs.
• Develop leadership capability and talent through coaching and development plans.
• Align with global Capsules to meet customer requirements and quality standards.
• Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning.
