Job summary

St. Maximilian Kolbe Church in Delano, MN seeks a Director of Operations to steward the parish's temporal life, oversee personnel, facilities, finance, and IT, and ensure our structures and stewardship advance our mission.

You will collaborate closely with the Pastor, School Principal, Facility Manager, and Accounting Manager to balance competing demands, optimize vendor and volunteer relationships, and keep momentum on our post-Capital Campaign priorities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth daily operations across two campuses and the academy (facilities, HR, IT, finance, and compliance).
• Oversee the Accounting Manager and transactional reporting.
• Oversee and collaborate with the Facility Manager.
• Help prioritize requests, optimize vendor and volunteer relationships, and maintain forward momentum.
• Collaborate with the Pastor and committee on post-Capital Campaign priorities.

Are you a servant leader with a sharp business mind and a heart for the Church? St. Maximilian Kolbe is seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to oversee the temporal life of our parish. This includes all administrative operations such as personnel, facilities, finance, and IT, ensuring our structures and stewardship fully support our mission and serve our community. In this role, you will work closely with the Pastor, School Principal, Facility Manager, and Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth daily operations across two campuses and the academy; facilities, personnel, IT infrastructure, financials, HR administration, and Diocesan Safe Environment compliance.
• Oversee the Accounting Manager; they are very skilled and handle all daily financial operations and transactional reporting.
• Oversee and collaborate with the Facility Manager.
• Help the team manage competing demands, discern priorities, optimize vendor and volunteer relationships, and maintain forward momentum.
• Facilitate and collaborate with the Pastor and committee on our post-Capital Campaign project list.
