Job summary

Red Cap Plumbing, Air & Electric seeks a strategic VP of Operations to lead and scale our rapidly growing home-services business in Tampa. You will translate strategy into execution, build a high-performing leadership team, and drive disciplined operations across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical trades.

Key responsibilities include P&L oversight, building KPI-driven processes, and partnering with executives on budgeting and long-range planning.

Red Cap is looking for an experienced VP of Operations to join our leadership team and help take a rapidly growing residential home-services business to the next level.

This is a key leadership position with broad responsibility across our HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical operations. The VP of Operations will be responsible for translating company strategy into execution, building a high-performing leadership team, and ensuring the business operates with the discipline and infrastructure needed to scale.

What Will I Do?

Do I Have What It Takes?

• Proven experience managing a highly profitable home-services business


• Strong P&L and financial management experience.


• Significant experience leading managers and developing high-performing leadership teams.


• Deep industry knowledge across residential HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Electrical.


• A track record of growing businesses while improving profitability and operational discipline.


• Strong communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.


• An entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to get into the business when needed.
