• Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando
• Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean, and South America
• Houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and cardiac catheterization labs in the country
• Provides service excellence to over 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients annually

The role you’ll contribute:

The Global Missions Director of Operations actively participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships with all. This position supervises, coordinates, manages, facilitates, and processes outgoing employees, physicians, residents, fellows, and volunteers involved in Global Missions international projects. It collaborates with executive leadership to develop and drive processes and initiatives, leads the development and management of international programs from inception to completion, and makes sound decisions to meet goals. The role requires sensitivity to diverse religious and cultural backgrounds and other duties as assigned.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

Serves as operational leader for Global Missions’ relationships with assigned institutions, ensuring continuous growth and progress toward strategic goals. Works with executive sponsors to develop and execute plans established with these relationships.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Managing outbound employees, physicians, residents, fellows, and volunteers for international projects, including trip logistics, visas, background checks, travel arrangements, immunizations, local licensure, insurance, and supplies.
• Monitoring visa requirements, travel advisories, and coordinating with project participants and overseas institutions to ensure logistical success across multiple time zones.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Non-profit Management, International Business, or Public Health Administration, OR Bachelor’s degree in these fields with five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Current, valid State of Florida Class E driver’s license
• Valid U.S. passport or appropriate international travel documents
