About Us

Wave Central is a leader in delivering integrated wireless video and broadcast solutions for the world’s most demanding live production environments. From major sporting events to high-profile broadcasts, Wave Central specializes in designing, deploying, and supporting complex systems that enable seamless, high-quality video capture from anywhere.

At Wave Central, the focus goes beyond technology—we help our customers be successful. By combining deep technical expertise with hands‑on service, system integration, and a commitment to quality, we simplify complex workflows and ensure reliable performance at scale—allowing our customers to focus on execution rather than solving technology challenges.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a hands‑on Director of Operations to lead manufacturing, quality, service and supply chain across our sites in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and Whiteley, UK. Working across job‑shop and medium‑volume manufacturing, you’ll bring the US and UK teams together, stay close to day‑to‑day delivery and ensure customer commitments are met on time and to the right standard.

You’ll also build the processes needed to support growth, moving the business from Excel‑heavy ways of working to a more disciplined, ERP‑led operation. We’re looking for someone who can improve planning, data and communication across teams, with experience implementing or scaling an ERP system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end‑to‑end operations across the U.S. and UK sites, including planning, inventory, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, service, and shipping.
  • Build and run disciplined 6–12 month Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes aligned to demand, capacity, materials, and customer commitments.
  • Lead the transition from spreadsheet‑driven operations to a scalable, ERP‑driven operating model with strong data discipline and accountability.
  • Develop scalable operating procedures and tight communication loops across planning, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, service, and shipping.
  • Improve delivery, quality, service, supply chain performance, and resource utilization while remaining hands‑on in day‑to‑day execution.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Engineering, operations, manufacturing, or supply chain background through degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong hands‑on manufacturing experience across customized job‑shop and medium‑volume production environments.
  • Proven experience with planning, inventory, supply chain, quality, service, and multi‑site operations.
  • Strong ERP experience, including moving teams from spreadsheet‑driven processes to structured, system‑driven workflows; Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build scalable processes, solve problems quickly, and lead effectively in a fast‑moving, evolving environment.
Success in This Role Looks Like
  • Reliable on‑time delivery, consistent product quality, responsive service, and high customer satisfaction.
  • A strong planning process with clear priorities, realistic commitments, and visibility into demand, capacity, materials, and delivery risk.
  • A scalable ERP‑driven operating model with trusted data, disciplined workflows, and clear accountability.
  • A leader with strong emotional intelligence who communicates effectively, builds trust, and drives accountability across teams.
  • A culture‑conscious approach that strengthens ownership, teamwork, continuous improvement, and consistent execution across both sites.
Benefits And Culture

Our culture is supportive and collaborative. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where we share our ideas and innovation is strongly encouraged. We are looking for someone with genuine passion and a can‑do attitude for what they do.
