MassBay Community College is seeking a Director of Online Learning to lead the strategic development of online and hybrid courses across three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland. The role focuses on increasing student access, readiness, and success through technology-mediated instruction and instructional design best practices.

Reporting to the Dean of Teaching and Learning, you will manage program development, ensure compliance with accessibility standards, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education with focus on instructional design or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes a strategic plan to improve online learning quality.
• Outreach to students, faculty, staff and community about online education.
• Oversees online/hybrid course offerings and budget for course development and training.
• Leads policy development for online education and accessibility compliance.
• Collaborates with colleges units to improve student success in online education.
