Healthier Tomorrows, a nutrition practice focusing on outpatient care for clients of all ages, is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced Director of Nutrition Care to join our team.

We are seeking candidates for our Director of Nutrition Care role! Registered dietitians with a strong background in nutrition counseling, personnel management experience, and a passion for providing one-on-one nutrition care are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will deliver high-quality care, enjoy collaborating with and mentoring dietitians, be receptive to feedback, and be dedicated to professional and leadership growth.

Candidates may work from one of our four Chicagoland offices or remotely.

Main responsibilities of the Director of Nutrition Care:

1. Training responsibilities: Monitoring training programs for compliance and completion; conducting in-service trainings; ensuring training materials are current and aligned with our nutrition philosophy; assisting in hiring and training new RDs.
2. Supervision responsibilities: Leading supervision and case consultation for Lead RDs and Team RDs; coaching RDs to maximize potential and improve skills and relations.
3. Personnel management: Managing annual performance evaluations for all Lead and Team RDs, ensuring timely and guideline-compliant reviews.
4. Program management: Overseeing and supporting in-person locations; leading clinical supervision skills training; participating in outreach events.

This position also involves providing direct nutrition care.

Position requirements:

• 3-5 years of professional experience as a registered dietitian working with a multidisciplinary team.
• Management or supervisory experience.
• Expertise in a non-diet, trauma-informed treatment approach.
• Experience with eating disorders; higher-level care experience preferred.
• Versatile nutrition knowledge.
