Freedom Pointe at The Villages is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead the nursing and supportive services for our Health Center in The Villages, FL. You will oversee clinical operations, staffing, and quality of care for residents receiving independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing services.

The ideal candidate holds an active Florida RN license, has at least two years in geriatric nursing and prior nursing administration experience, preferably in long-term care, and

Job Duties:

The Director of Nursing is responsible for the development, organization and operation of nursing services and supportive services for the Health Center.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Registered nurse with a current license in the State of Florida
• Two years’ experience in geriatric nursing and/or B.S. Degree in nursing. Participation in professional organizations, dealing primarily in geriatrics preferred. Minimum of two years nursing administration experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
