Freedom Pointe at The Villages is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead the development, organization and operation of nursing and supportive services in the Health Center. You will oversee care quality, staffing, and regulatory compliance to ensure compassionate, resident-centered care.

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold a Florida RN license, with at least two years of geriatric nursing or nursing administration experience. A background check is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Registered nurse with a current license in the State of Florida.
• Two years’ experience in geriatric nursing and/or B.S. Degree in nursing; nursing administration experience preferred in long-term care; active participation in geriatrics preferred.

Job Duties:

The Director of Nursing is responsible for the development, organization and operation of nursing services and supportive services for the Health Center.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Registered nurse with a current license in the State of Florida
• Two years’ experience in geriatric nursing and/or B.S. Degree in nursing. Participation in professional organizations, dealing primarily in geriatrics preferred. Minimum of two years nursing administration experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
