Job summary

Fir Lane Care in Shelton, WA seeks a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and oversee all nursing services at the center. You will plan, organize, direct, supervise and evaluate nursing care while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality resident outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds RN licensure with 3+ years of DON leadership experience, strong budget and staff management skills, and a commitment to staff development and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Current state RN licensure without enforcement.
• 3+ years DON experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Ability to manage nursing services within budget.

Responsibilities

Pay Range: $140,000 - $150,000/YR DOE

What you will do:

• Responsible for the planning, organization, direction, supervision and evaluation of the nursing services provided in the center
• Ensures nursing department compliance with federal, state and local regulations and implementation of center core nursing programs
• Ensures maintenance of records and reports for resident care
• Ensures the orientation and training of all nursing services personnel
• Manages the nursing services department within budget
• Follows all center policies and procedures

Must have:

• Current state RN licensure without enforcement
• Previous DON experience of 3 years or more preferred
