Job summary

TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Director of Nursing (RN) in Essex County, NJ to oversee nursing operations, clinical staff management, and healthcare services across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate will lead nursing teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality assurance in correctional and behavioral health settings. NJ RN license, BSN, CPR, and 5–10 years of management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• Active New Jersey RN license; Pennsylvania license/compact preferred.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• 5–10 years of nursing experience with healthcare administration or nursing management.
• Experience in correctional healthcare, behavioral health, or residential healthcare settings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical documentation processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations across multiple locations, including staff supervision, hiring, scheduling, and performance management.
• Monitor nursing care delivery, medication administration, and clinical procedures to ensure patient safety and quality standards.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with healthcare regulations and licensure requirements.
• Coordinate nursing orientation, mandatory training, professional development, and ongoing performance evaluations.
• Conduct clinical documentation audits, address patient concerns, and implement improvements to procedures.
• Coordinate staffing coverage, vendor relationships, and healthcare operations while providing clinical support as needed.
