Job summary

CareCore at Gaymont in Norwalk, Ohio is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team. This RN leader role is dedicated to delivering exceptional resident care while supporting and developing a strong nursing staff.

You will provide leadership for all nursing operations, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and foster a resident-centered culture. LTC leadership experience and a solid regulatory background are essential.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license required.
• LTC leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Experience as Director or Assistant Director of Nursing preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities.
• Experience with state surveys and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build relationships with residents, families, physicians, and staff.
