Job summary

Caring Place Healthcare Group seeks a Director of Nursing at Glendale Place Nursing & Rehab to lead daily nursing operations in Cincinnati, OH. You will supervise RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive policies that improve resident care.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, an active Ohio RN license, and at least 5 years in long-term care with leadership experience. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in Ohio.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of long-term care nursing experience, including leadership.
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical standards.
• Proven leadership, decision-making, and team development skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Compassionate, resident-focused leadership approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and oversee daily operations of the nursing department.
• Supervise nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, CMAs, and CNAs.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
• Monitor quality of care and implement performance improvement initiatives.
• Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of nursing staff.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to the nursing team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary departments to ensure coordinated, resident-centered care.
• Maintain regulatory readiness and lead state survey processes.
• Foster a positive, supportive, and accountable care environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio
