Longterm Health Management Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (RN) to lead our Hospitality-Driven Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation community. The DON will set the tone for clinical excellence and resident-centered care.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, staff mentorship, regulatory compliance, and a culture of accountability. You will partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary teams to drive quality, surveys, and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Prior Director of Nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, surveys, QA, and reimbursement systems.
• Proven ability to lead teams, improve culture, and drive accountability.
• Hands-on leadership style with strong clinical judgment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for resident-centered care and hospitality-driven service.

Responsibilities

• Lead all nursing operations for the facility.
• Drive clinical quality measures and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain survey readiness and infection prevention standards.
• Mentor, coach, and develop nursing leadership and floor staff.
• Partner closely with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team.
• Improve staff retention, engagement, and accountability.
• Ensure exceptional resident and family communication.
• Support admissions, clinical systems, and care coordination.

We are a standalone Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation community in the Charlotte market seeking an experienced Registered Nurse leader to serve as our next Director of Nursing (DON).
