Job summary

Require a Master's in Nursing, an unrestricted RN license, and substantial nursing/faculty experience. You will drive professional development and ensure current teaching practices across the program.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited school (ACEN/CCNE acceptable).
• Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the licensing state.
• Minimum of two years of registered nursing experience.
• Minimum of two years full-time faculty experience in a nursing program.
• Minimum of two years full-time clinical nursing or APN experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admission, academic progression and graduation of students.
• Evaluate student progress and competency against program objectives.
• Interview and select qualified nursing faculty for the program.
• Supervise and evaluate program faculty, including classroom reviews.
• Orient new faculty to university and program policies and procedures.
• Provide evaluation and feedback on course materials and outcomes.
• Plan and lead program Advisory Board meetings.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and current clinical practices.
• Ensure faculty stay current in trends, issues and teaching methods.
