ECPI University in Manassas, VA seeks a Director of Nursing (Practical Nursing) to lead the PN program. You will oversee admissions, progression and graduation while shaping faculty performance and curriculum alignment.

Require a Master's in Nursing, an unrestricted RN license, and substantial nursing/faculty experience. You will drive professional development and ensure current teaching practices across the program.

Formación

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited school (ACEN/CCNE acceptable).
• Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the licensing state.
• Minimum of two years of registered nursing experience.
• Minimum of two years full-time faculty experience in a nursing program.
• Minimum of two years full-time clinical nursing or APN experience.

• Interview and select qualified nursing faculty for the program.
• Supervise and evaluate program faculty, including classroom reviews.

• Plan and lead program Advisory Board meetings.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and current clinical practices.
• Ensure faculty stay current in trends, issues and teaching methods.

Description

Good Faith Pay Range: In accordance with Virginia law, the good-faith pay range for this position is $94,640 -$113,880 per year . Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, skills, and other legitimate business factors.

The Director of Nursing for the Practical Nursing program is responsible for the administration, planning, implementation and evaluation of the Practical Nursing program.

Responsibilities

Students

• Oversee the admission, academic progression and graduation of students.
• Evaluate student progress and competency based on program philosophy and objectives.

Faculty

• Interview and select nursing faculty who are qualified and contribute to the program and student outcomes.
• Supervise and evaluate program faculty including in-class reviews of each instructor.
• Orient new faculty to policies and procedures of the University and the program.

Program

• Provide evaluation and feedback to the program on course materials, current changes in practice, standards of practice, and student accomplishment of course and program outcomes.
• Plan and lead program Advisory Board meetings.

Professional Development

• Commit to ongoing professional development through continued education programs and academic courses.
• Ensure program faculty remain current in trends, issues and practices in the field, as well as effective teaching strategies and assessment methods.

Qualifications

Education/Credentials

Masters degree in Nursing from an institutional accredited school (either ACEN, CCNE, etc).

• Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the State in which the program is licensed

Experience

• Minimum of two years of registered nursing experience
• Minimum of two years of experience as a full-time faculty member in an approved nursing program
• Minimum of two years full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse or advanced practice nurse
