The employee is responsible for the daily operations of assigned units and supervision of assigned personnel. The employee makes decisions that require expert clinical judgment and collaborates with physicians, staff, patients, and families. Responsible for interviewing, completing staff evaluations, and monitoring staff for compliance with policies, procedures, and Quality Improvement standards. Under the direction of the Executive Director of Pathways and the Medical Director for Pathways, the Director of Nursing functions at the senior leadership level to provide effective leadership and to coordinate delivery of care, treatment, and services. This employee is responsible for twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. Current RN licensure as approved for practice in the State of Tennessee and a Bachelor's degree is required.
