Brightview Senior Living in Paramus, NJ, seeks a Health Services Director, Registered Nurse to lead clinical care for our residents. This role opens at Brightview Joy's Farm community, with responsibilities spanning team leadership, care planning, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has an RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited school, and experience in geriatric care with supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license required.
• Experience in geriatric nursing or gerontology and dementia care (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in a health care supervisory role (preferred).
• Solid computer and keyboarding skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written communication skills including proper grammar and professional writing.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse group of associates, residents and family members.
• Ability to apply reason, logic, and advanced problem solving skills to resolve complex and/or sensitive issues.
• Ability to function as a team leader as well as work as a contributor in a team environment.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop and lead a team of Licensed Nurses and provide clinical supervision to MedTechs and Resident Assistants.
• Under your leadership, assess residents and implement comprehensive care plans meeting Brightview standards.
• Oversee ongoing nursing assessments and monitor medication delivery.
• Collaborate with residents' physicians and medical personnel on care plans.
