Job summary
HealthCare Talent is seeking a Director of Nursing for an Assisted Living Community in Fort Worth, Texas. This position offers a rewarding work environment with strong benefits and opportunities for advancement while focusing on memory care for residents.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in nursing, be RN licensed in Texas, and have experience with Alzheimer's and related dementia. A strong supervisory background is also essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred.
- Must be currently RN licensed in Texas.
- At least one year of experience working in long-term care.
- Knowledge and experience working with residents with Alzheimer’s disease and/or related dementia.
- One year of experience supervising others.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursing staff in an assisted living community.
- Ensure quality care for residents with memory impairments.
- Develop performance expectations and provide feedback.
- Promote collaboration and company culture.
- Manage changes and resolve conflicts.
