Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a Director of Nursing to oversee care for residents through a consistent care delivery model. You will lead residential case management and supervise Resident Caregivers, Medication Assistants, and other care staff.

The role requires RN or LPN licensure in Tennessee and at least 1 year of supervisory experience in long-term or memory care, with QA/improvement focus and the ability to lift 50 lbs. On-call duties are included.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current RN or LPN license in the state.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical and supervisory experience in long term care or memory care.
• Quality assurance/improvement and staff development experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs without restriction.

• Partners with the Executive Director on recruiting, hiring, new hire orientation, training and in-services for Resident Caregivers, Medication Assistants, and LPNs.
• Collaborates with physicians, pharmacy and other medical professionals to promote quality care and independence for our residents.
• Conducts comprehensive resident pre-admission, admission and quarterly assessments.
• Provide on-call support for the community.
• Ensures compliance, efficiency and team’s understanding of policies and procedures.

Position Summary

Required Qualifications
